Services

The main focus of this practice is psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management along with supportive psychotherapy. Katherine works with adults, adolescents, and children treating the following conditions:

• Mood Disorders (Depression, SAD, PDD, PMDD)

• Neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD)

• Anxiety Disorders (GAD, Social anxiety, Panic Disorder)

If you are interested in an initial intake, please click the "Next Steps" tab. Majority of appointments will be in-person, however, Telemedicine will be considered on an individual basis pending your treatment needs. 

Katherine accepts Excellus BCBS (commercial only), Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, Oxford, Oscar Health and private pay. If you are out-of-network your insurance company can advise you about out-of-network benefits unique to your policy. At your request, office staff can provide a “super-bill” inclusive of diagnostic and service codes. Using this “super-bill,” you can submit claims directly to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Rates:

Initial Assessment Appointment (60-90 Minutes) - $275.

In-person or telemedicine follow-up appointments (30-45 Minutes) - $150.

Good Faith Estimate: Prior to your first appointment, you may request a Good Faith Estimate. This estimate includes an individualized report estimating the anticipated costs of treatment for your condition.

Limitations of Katherine Rowles, Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry, PLLC: The practice does NOT offer the following services:

a: ADHD evaluations for the purpose of academic or employment accommodations

b: Forensic evaluations for legal purposes

c: Custody evaluations or parental assessments for use in determining custody or visitation

d: Disability evaluations, including Short-Term Disability, determining leaves of absence from employment

e: Substance Use Disorders or treatment, including Suboxone or opiate-replacement therapies

Katherine will not provide any evaluation for the sole purpose of seeking medical or mental disability, or assist in determining ability to take leave from employment.
